Sceneboard — privacy policy

Last updated: [DATE]

Sceneboard is designed so there is almost nothing to write here.

What we collect

Nothing. Sceneboard has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Your audio

Every sound you import, extract from a video, or record stays on your device, in the app's own storage. Sceneboard has no server; your audio is never uploaded and never leaves the device unless you export a board and send it through a channel you choose (AirDrop, Messages, Files). Your sounds are included in your normal device backup like any other app data.

Microphone

Sceneboard asks for microphone access only when you record a clip. Recordings are stored locally with the rest of your sounds and are never transmitted. Deny the permission and everything except recording still works.

Purchases

The optional one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Sceneboard receives only Apple's confirmation that the purchase belongs to your Apple ID — it never sees your payment details. Purchase and restore are the app's only network interactions, and they go exclusively to Apple. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Children

Sceneboard collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of Sceneboard ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the change described plainly.
